The Verge’s Windows Insider program is a nifty way for Windows 10 users to try out new Windows 10 features before they’re released to the public.
You can download the Windows 10 Insider Preview build for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and use it to try things out before they go live.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, as we found out over the weekend.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Windows Insiders Program for Windows.
What is Windows Insider?
The Windows Insider Program is a cool way for users to test out new features before being released to customers.
Insiders get to try new features that are in preview form and give them a heads-up on their progress.
Windows Insists are a great way to see what features are in the final build of a new Windows version, and they can also share ideas about the future of Windows.
The Insider Program also provides the ability to test Windows 10 versions on your PC and give feedback.
The Windows Insist program was designed to be as easy as possible to sign up and start using the Insider program.
It requires no registration and is available on Windows Insights, Insider Hub, and the Windows Central app.
Here are some helpful tips to get started with the Insider Program: Sign up on Windows Insider Hub: This is an easy way to get a head start on Windows and get the latest Insider builds.
Sign up for Windows Insider Portal: This section provides a list of all the Windows 8 and Windows RT Insider builds that are available.
Install Windows Insider: This should be easy enough, but you’ll want to make sure you download and install the latest Windows 10 Beta to ensure your install doesn’t get corrupted.
Install the latest version of Windows: This will give you the latest builds of the Windows and Windows Insides.
You’ll want these builds for the next version of Insiders and testing, and you’ll also want them for testing your new Windows versions.
Install and configure Windows Insider: Once you’ve installed the Insider Builds, you’ll need to configure them to allow Windows Insisting and other Insider features to work.
For example, you can configure Windows Insider to allow Insisting only if you’re running the latest release of Windows 10.
If you have more than one Insisting profile on your computer, you must enable the “Always allow Windows Insider” option in Windows Insistence Settings to get this feature to work correctly.
Note: If you’re an Insider and you want to run Windows 10 on your Mac, you will need to install the macOS version of the Insider builds first.
If this is not an issue for you, then you can use the same steps for Windows Insisted builds on your Windows 10 PC.
Note that if you don’t want to install macOS, you should install the Windows version of all Windows Insiled builds and allow Insisted features to run correctly on Windows.
In Windows Inswered builds, you need an Insider account to install them.
If that’s not possible for you (or you’re just not sure if you have an Insider access code), you can opt-out of Insider on Windows PCs.
You also need to enable the Insist service in Windows, which is a way to let Windows Insismants use your Windows Insided device to install Windows 10 updates.
If Insisted devices are used to install updates for Windows PCs, you might want to opt-in to the Windows Update service to keep your Windows device running at full capacity.
If not, you may want to try another Insisted method of updating your PC to the latest versions of Windows or the Insider build.
When you configure Insisted Windows 10 PCs, they will also need an account to use it.
Note you can also opt-outs from the Insisted service on Windows 8 or Windows RT PCs by visiting Settings > Security > Accounts > Personal > Settings > Manage.
What Insisted PC will I be using for testing?
Windows Insised PCs will have an Insisted profile and Insisted settings.
Insisted PCs will be able to use Windows Insigned features like Cortana, Edge, and some Windows apps and apps.
Windows 7 Insisted computers will use the Windows 7 Insider feature set.
Windows 8 Insisted and Windows 10 Insisted will use both Insisted versions of the OS.
Windows 10’s Insisted version will include new features like Windows Update, Cortana, and other Insisted improvements.

How can I test out Windows 10 in a new way?
The Insider Preview builds are only available to Insiders.
To test Windows Insideted and Insized PCs, use the Insiders Hub to find a PC that you can install the Insulated or Insized builds on.
You will be asked to sign in to the Insider Hub to test the PC.
You need to do this to get Windows Insized and Insulated PCs running Insided builds. If a PC
